Established in 2008, the calgary branch of victoria’s quilts canada currently has over 80 members We make approximately 250 quilts annually and deliver them to recipients in calgary and to communities in alberta north to red deer, and within that area all communities east to the saskatchewan border and west to the bc border. We strive to deliver quilts in person to recipients in london, middlesex, and elgin counties Forthose in other parts of southwestern ontario, quilts are mailed with care via canada post.
The edmonton branch started in april 2021, and within a couple months we had 18 volunteers signed up to sew quilts
With much help from the calgary branch, and a branch in saskatchewan, we quickly had piles of cotton fabric and patterns for quilt tops.
