Resettable just means you can disengage the turret and set the 0 mark on the turret to some mark on the scope body.
Adjusting the magnification should have no effect on zero Now your reticle will be effected depending on if it is ffp or sfp Ffp will adjust the reticle based on the magnification so that your hold over marks are correct for the magnification Sfp will not make this adjustment so your hold over marks will only be good for one magnification
Most basic hunting scopes are sfp but that really. All the battery does is light the diode so changing the battery will not alter the zero
There are some red dot sights that have to be removed from the gun to change the battery so you want to recheck your zero after reinstalling them but the dpp allows battery change s while it is still. If i were to remove the scope by loosing the rings hold on the rail, then re install it again
Will the scope still be in zero The problem is while, per the op question, i could take remount the zero'd scope over and over and keep zero, in the best case, i could not move the scope between rifles without burning some ammo on a rezero, as i move platforms.
